Use of the comparative and superlative of inferiority

A/ Comparative of inferiority:

China is more populated than Japan. Now start the sentence with Japan, keeping the same adjective

We say: Japan is less populated than China.

.less + adjectives (short / long / irregular) + than...

XEMPLES

Short adjectives: ... less tall / big / easy than.

Long adjectives: .... less expensive / horrible / dangerous than

Irregular adjectives: ...less good / bad /far than ...

If we compare February with the other months of the year. February is the least long month of the year.
