I use the indefinite article "a" before the words that start with a consonant.
Example: a ball, a teacher, a piano. Exception: an hour, an honour.
I use the indefinite article "an" before the words that start with a vowel.
Example: an article, an electrician, an artist. Exception: a university, a unit.
use the definite article "the" before specific and already known nouns.
Example : I love the teacher of English.
